We are expanding and growing our practice and are looking to add a talented dental assistant to complete our team!

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and chairside assisting techniques. The Dental Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and supporting the overall efficiency of the dental clinic.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.

Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment for various treatments.

Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.

Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information in software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including medical documentation and coding.

Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

Maintain accurate medical records and assist in the management of patient files.

Support pediatric dentistry procedures by providing compassionate care to young patients.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting is preferred.

Experience with Dentrix is a plus.

Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry.

Ability to perform medical imaging tasks using 3D scanners when necessary.

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to pursue certification is encouraged.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
