Pure Perio is a leading periodontal practice in Glenview dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of all stages of periodontal disease. The office provides a full range of advanced periodontal services, including periodontal maintenance, gum grafting, bone grafting, dental implant placement, tooth extractions, and laser periodontal therapy. Schedule for the Dental Assistant:
Monday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:
Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience required
Prepare treatment rooms for surgical procedures and seat patients appropriately
Assist the doctor during surgeries as well as with post-operative patient care
Perform dental and periodontal charting accurately and efficiently
Take and record patient blood pressure when needed
Capture digital x-rays and properly upload them into patient records
Document completed procedures and treatment plans within the digital charting system
Clean, disinfect, and turn over operatories; sterilize all instruments according to protocol
Provide clinical support to doctors, hygienists, and front office team members as needed
Maintain a strong team-oriented mindset and actively contribute to achieving office goals
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff
Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly demeanor even in high-pressure situations
Stay organized and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ensure all responsibilities are completed accurately and within required timeframes
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
