Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
Take and develop dental radiographs (CAD experience preferred)
Manage patient records using Epic, Dentrix, and other dental management software
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and medical histories using medical terminology
Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean clinical environment
Experience
Prior experience in dental assisting is required; familiarity with Epic, Dentrix, and CAD software is preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is highly desirable
Experience working as a dental receptionist or in a medical setting is a plus
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Certification in dental assisting or related training is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
