General dental office in Brea is seeking an energetic and friendly dental assistant to join our modern office and be a valuable member of our team. Patient experience is our top priority! RDA certification is preferred but not required. Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental chairside assistance, proficiency in taking x-rays, the ability to assist in oral surgeries and root canals, as well as experience with iTero scanning and Invisalign. Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients in the dental office
Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
Take x-rays
Keep track of outgoing/incoming lab cases
Make preliminary impressions
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative instructions
Skills
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing and making temporary crown is a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
