Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at a busy oral surgery practice. Professionalism, efficiency, and experience are a must. Oral surgery experience is preferred but not required. Please only serious applicants with verifiable references.
Our ideal candidate will be an energetic team player who thrives in a fast paced environment. Duties will include:
Assisting oral surgeon with surgical procedures and patient consultations;
Preparing treatment rooms following prescribed procedures and protocols;
Sterilization and delivery of instruments to treatment area, positioning of instruments, suctioning and passing instruments to oral surgeon;
Compassionate and attentive patient care including educating patients on pre- and post-operative care;
Maintaining supplies and inventory, anticipating supply needs; placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt of supplies.
Additional Qualifications:
X-ray certification
CPR Certification
Knowledge of Open Dental (helpful)
Phlebotomy course (helpful)
RDA/CDA preferred but not essential if candidate has a track record of experience.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
