We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. Position Summary
As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. You will assist during dental procedures, prepare treatment rooms, maintain infection control standards, educate patients, and help create a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.

Sterilize and organize instruments following OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines.

Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, crown and bridge, endodontic, oral surgery, and preventive treatments.

Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.

Record patient medical histories, chart treatment, and document clinical notes.

Prepare dental materials and instruments for procedures.

Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions.

Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.

Maintain inventory and stock clinical supplies.

Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly.

Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling appointments, confirming visits, and answering patient questions.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.

Dental Assistant certification or registration as required by state law.

Current X-ray certification.

CPR certification preferred.

Previous dental assisting experience is preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.

Experience with digital X-rays and electronic dental records is a plus.

Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
