Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, experienced Dental Assistant to join our fee-for-service private dental practice. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials while maintaining strict sterilization and infection control standards
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, cosmetic procedures, and other treatments
Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, intraoral photos, and assist with digital scanning as needed
Update medical histories, chart accurately, and maintain thorough documentation in Dentrix
Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit
Maintain cleanliness and organization of operatories and clinical areas
Monitor and maintain dental supplies and equipment
Support smooth daily office flow through effective communication and teamwork
Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and safety
Assist with scheduling coordination and patient communication when needed
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental office required
Proficiency with Dentrix preferred
CEREC experience is a plus
Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, sterilization, and chairside assisting techniques
Experience with digital X-rays, CBCT, and intraoral scanning preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
Positive attitude and professional appearance
Experience in a fee-for-service or private practice environment is a plus

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
