Dental Assistant Part time (6 yrs exp req)

Job Summary
Private, family owned office seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our aesome and friendly dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentists during various procedures, including restorative and cosmetic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication and written skills. Ideal candidate will have an RDA but experience and skills can substitute.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.

Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis.

Utilize 3D scanners for capturing precise dental impressions and make temporary crowns
Update patient records and take thorough notes using dental software.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.

Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments, writing clinical notes, and managing patient flow.

Qualifications
Experience with 3D scanning technology is preferred but not required.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.

Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
