Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments according to infection prevention management procedures.

Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics with precision and professionalism.

Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while maintaining strict adherence to dental x-ray safety standards and clinical confidentiality policies.

Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; ensure accurate documentation of medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment notes.

Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.

Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions while demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Support the dental reception process by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing medical documentation efficiently.

Requirements
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy.

Proficiency in using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or similar platforms for medical documentation and records management.

Strong understanding of infection control protocols including dental sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection prevention standards.

Certification in dental x-ray technology along with experience in taking X-rays and utilizing medical imaging equipment.

Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.

Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with oral surgery procedures confidently.

Familiarity with dental instruments processing, endodontics tools, prosthodontics materials, and 3D scanner technology.

Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
