Dental Assistant (Part-time)

Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team 3.5 days a week. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Wednesday 7 am to 4 pm, Thursdays 8 am to 12 pm.

Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Take digital intraoral xrays, panoramic, and CBCT images.

Assist with dental charting and accurate patient records
Proficiency in chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
Skills:
Proficiency in dental practice management systems, such as Open Dental or similar.

Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
Experience with digital dentistry, including CAD-CAM (Can learn on the job)
Experience with implant dentistry is a plus.

Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices
Solid knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to understand and speak spanish is a plus
This is a part-time position. Pay rate is determined based on experience and skill.
