We are looking for a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team at our Downingtown office. We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, professional, and comfortable working in a busy dental practice.

Dental Assistant – Part Time
Potential for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule after December 1st.

Location: 1670 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602
Schedule

- Monday: Off

- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM — no lunch

- Wednesday: Off

- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM — 1-hour lunch

- Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM — no lunch
Potential for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule after December 1st.

Compensation & Benefits
$27–$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits- 401(k) with 4% employer match- PTO
Experience

- EFDA certification is a plus, but not required
Dental Assisting experience required
1+ year preferred
X-ray certification required

Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms according to procedures and protocols
Welcome and seat patients, ensuring they feel comfortable during treatment
Assist the dentist during procedures (instrument transfer, suction, etc.)
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
Select and mix dental materials during procedures
Fabricate temporary restorations and polish removable appliances
Assist in dental and medical emergencies when needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Ensure treatment areas remain clean, safe, and organized
Support the dental team with additional tasks as needed
