Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following:
Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health.
Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos.
Prepares and sterilizes treatment room and equipment.
Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures.
Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
Qualifications:
You will be required to possess the following:
Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant with Invisalign experience.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
Quick learner with problem solving skills
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records,
scheduling, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
