Periodontal Dental Assistant | Triad Perio, High Point | Perio experience required
A surgical perio assisting role focused on implants, grafting, and periodontal surgery, including sedation cases.
Our practice has two periodontists: Dr. Karen Lanier, practicing for more than 20 years, and Dr. Omar Glover, who completed his periodontal residency alongside a Ph.D. in oral biology.
What You’ll Do
Assist with implant, grafting, and periodontal surgical procedures
Prepare and support patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation cases
Take digital radiographs
Set up and break down surgical operatories and maintain sterile technique
Review post-op instructions with patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their care
What You’ll Bring
Periodontal assisting experience (required)
Confidence with surgical setups, sterile field, and instrument handling
Calm, clear communication with patients who may be anxious about surgery
Professionalism and a team-first approach
