Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, assist dentists during examinations and procedures, and handle essential clinical and administrative tasks.Core Responsibilities
Patient Care: Welcome patients, prepare them for examination, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.

Chairside Assisting: Hand instruments to the dentist, operate suction devices, and anticipate the dentist's needs during procedures.

Sterilization & Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, and set up dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.

Radiography: Prepare patients for and take high-quality dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.

Lab Work: Pour impressions, create molds, and prepare laboratory prescriptions.

Documentation: Update and maintain accurate patient electronic health records and treatment plans.

Requirements & Qualifications
Certification: Active state Dental Assistant certification or registration (RDA or CDA preferred).

Licensure: Valid X-ray/Radiology certification is required.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dental practice preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates.

Skills: Strong communication skills, a compassionate chairside manner, and proficiency with dental practice management software ( Dentrix)
