Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting education or previous dental office experience is an asset, but training can be provided.
- Dental X-ray experience/certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with ClearDent or similar dental software is an asset
Requirements:
- Certified dental assistant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
