Dental Assistant (RDA/DA) Oral Surgery

Job Duties:
Welcome and escort patients to operatories.

Familiarize patient with the appointment/treatment details.

Enter chart notes including patient’s current status and future treatment plan under the direction of the doctor.

Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control protocols.

Set up procedure trays and instruments.

Take vital signs and record.

Assist the doctor in daily oral surgery procedures using local and general anesthesia.

Stock rooms and maintain clinical inventory supply.

Experience with the following:
Oral surgery / implant experience a plus but willing to train.

Experience with Dentrix Dental Software preferred.

Qualifications and Education:
Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant
X-ray license required.

Current CPR certification preferred.
