Dental Assistant (RDA) for maternity leave

One of our existing assistants will be leaving for maternity leave and we will need a skilled assistant to help with our schedule starting the end of August through mid December. We are looking for someone we can rely on to be a valued and an integral part of our team. Since we are looking for someone who will blend seamlessly with our tight-knit team, we have some specific needs/requirements. Requirements
Must be a Registered Dental Assistant with the State of WA
Must hold a current and valid health care provider basic life support (BLS) certification
Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a dental assistant
Must be flexible and adaptable in the work place. Patients, procedures, tasks and supplies can change rapidly in a dental office. We need an RDA who is understanding of these changes and willing/able to adjust to these changes as they occur
Must be dependable. We need to be able to rely on all members of our team, to know that they will be at work, on time, and ready to work
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Understanding of sterilization procedures and protocols
Experience with provisionals, digital scanning, left handed dentistry, airway screening/treatment, oral surgery including implant placement, Invisalign and more
Strong computer skills, experience with Open Dental is a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Eagerness to learn new procedures and accept constructive feedback
Attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions to ensure work is completed correctly and with the highest quality every time
Responsibilities
Set up and tear down patient procedure rooms as needed
Help maintain sterilization area and assist other team members with room turnover and sterilization, as needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist Dr. Gressell in all types of procedures, including but not limited to: exams, radiographs, fillings, crowns (including fabricating provisional crowns), airway screening and treatment, oral surgery, digital scanning, Invisalign and more
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
