Job Description
```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental laboratory procedures such as pouring and trimming models
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft systems
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Proficiency in Dentrix or Eaglesoft software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
