Dental Assistant/Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This dual-role position involves both clinical assisting and front desk responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Clinical (Dental Assistant Duties) Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns) Take dental X-rays Prepare and maintain dental materials and equipment Provide post-operative instructions to patients Maintain accurate clinical records and charting Administrative (Receptionist Duties) Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner Schedule and confirm appointments Manage phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries Process billing, insurance claims, and payments Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment schedules Qualifications Dental Assistant certification (Level I or II) HARP certification mandatory Proficiency in English Previous dental office experience is an asset Familiarity with dental software Paradigm is an asset Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Skills & Attributes Friendly and professional demeanor Strong attention to detail Team-oriented with a positive attitude Excellent time management Commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
