Job Summary
We are a start up office seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Dental Assistant/ Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care while ensuring smooth office operations.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk with professionalism and efficiency.
Assist dentist during all procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining cleanliness and sterilization standards.
Manage patient records using Paradigm/Logitech practice management software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, answering questions related to dental procedures.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies, order materials as needed, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Prepare dental estimations, collect payments, coordination of insurance, manage A/R
Ensure schedule is full, by following up on treatments and recare calling
Open and Close the office
Skills
Proficiency in Paradigm/Logitech dental practice management software.
Experience in dental assisting with skills in sterilization, patient care, and clinical support.
HARP Certified
Ability to handle front desk operations efficiently as a dental receptionist.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor; capable of working effectively without direct and constant supervision.
