Job Summary
Floss Bosses is hiring an experienced Dental Assistant to step into a key leadership role within our clinic. The position is a PT position for Fridays and Saturdays.
With our current team member relocating in April, we are seeking a strong, organized professional who can confidently manage both clinical assisting and front-desk operations to support smooth daily workflow. This position is shared with another RDA / receptionist.
This role serves as both Dental Assistant and Receptionist, acting as a vital link between patient care and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and aligned with our collaborative, positive team culture.
This is a high-responsibility role requiring initiative, independent decision-making, and strong operational awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical assisting support during patient care
Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out
Schedule and coordinate appointments using AkituOne
Handle multi-line phones and patient inquiries
Verify insurance and maintain accurate electronic records
Process payments and manage billing
Ensure efficient patient flow between clinical and front office
Qualifications
Experience in dental assisting and reception (additional training provided if required)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with dental procedures, insurance verification, and EMR systems
Professional, positive demeanor that strengthens our team environment
