Job Overview
Join the dynamic team at North End Dental as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where your energy and dedication will directly enhance patient experiences and streamline clinic operations. We are a non-corporate, well established, dental practice in Boise beautiful North End Neighborhood. Our dental assistants are cross trained in front desk duties. Experience as a dental assistant is required for this position. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a vibrant dental office committed to quality care and patient satisfaction.
Duties
Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR), review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
Assist dental practitioners chairside during procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment, taking radiographs and managing clinical supplies
Collect payments, perform medical collections, and verify insurance coverage using health insurance knowledge
Manage front desk responsibilities including answering phones with proper phone etiquette, scheduling appointments via dental software, and maintaining filing systems
Experience
Proven clinic experience or background in a dental office setting
Strong computer skills
Excellent customer service skills complemented by effective phone communication and office management abilitieselcoming environment for our patients! This role is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to contribute their administrative expertise combined with clinical support skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Knowledge of Dentrix is preferred
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
