Dental Assistant/Receptionist

About the Position
We are a patient-focused dental clinic seeking a Dental Assistant to primarily support our front desk (approximately 70%), with occasional clinical assisting (approximately 30%).

This role is primarily front desk-based, with scheduled or as-needed assisting shifts to support the clinical team. You will also act as a backup to our main Dental Assistant when required.

We believe Dental Assistants bring valuable clinical knowledge to the front desk, improving patient communication and overall clinic flow.

Job Type: Full-time (Front Desk–Focused Dental Assistant)
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk (Primary Role)
Manage scheduling, patient check-in/out, and phone communication
Maintain accurate patient records using ABELDent
Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments and treatment
Clinical Support (Secondary Role)
Assist chairside during scheduled or as-needed shifts
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take and process dental X-rays
Provide backup support to the main Dental Assistant
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant (Level I or II)
HARP certification
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable and team-oriented
No front desk experience required — training will be provided.
