Job Description
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant/Floater/Receptionist to join our welcoming dental team in Innisfil! If you enjoy helping patients feel comfortable and being part of a supportive, upbeat environment and are experienced in assisting and reception we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a full-time position (30–36 hours per week) with a consistent schedule where you will work closely with our dentists and team to provide high-quality patient care. This position will consist of both assisting/float and reception duties.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
Maintain accurate patient records
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Support front desk duties as needed
Administrative duties including treatment planning, patient billings and scheduling.
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant (Level II preferred)
HARP certification required
Previous dental assisting experience is an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Knowledge of dental software (Abeldent is an asset)
