Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using practice management software.
Maintain accurate medical records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Perform insurance verification and handle collections as needed.
Assist in clerical tasks, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
Familiarity with medical records management and filing systems is essential.
Knowledge of Dental insurance verification processes is a plus.
Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
