Duties
Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling with precision using Tracker practice management software
Assist dental providers during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and handing necessary supplies
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently
Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Tracker systems, ensuring all patient information is current and confidential
Manage front desk operations including verifying insurance details, processing payments, and handling patient correspondence
Coordinate patient follow-ups and reminders to promote ongoing care and satisfaction
Support administrative functions such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to keep the practice organized and efficient
Qualifications
Previous experience working as a dental receptionist/dental office environment is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Tracker.
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and providing excellent front desk customer service
Experience with office administration tasks such as scheduling, billing, and insurance verification
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
