Job Overview
At Englehart Dental Office, We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will seamlessly transition between clinical assisting, sterilization, and front desk reception to maintain patient flow, acting as a crucial, flexible team member.
Key Responsibilities
Sterilization & Setup: Sterilizing instruments, disinfecting operatories, and preparing treatment rooms according to safety protocols.
Administrative Support: Greeting patients, booking appointments, managing patient records, and processing payments.
Clinical Assisting: Providing chairside support to dentists and hygienists, taking X-rays, charting, and taking impressions.
Workflow Optimization: Covering for staff breaks, addressing urgent tasks across different departments, and maintaining inventory.
Requirements
Education: Certified Dental Assistant or equivalent training ( Preferred but not mandatory)
Certification: HARP (Preferred but not mandatory) , CPR certification ( Required)
Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Maxident), and knowledge of IPAC/OSHA standards.
