We are a small growing dental practice In Hyattsville, MD looking for someone motivated to help with chair side assisting and using Eaglesoft for practice management and RevenueWell for patient communication. We are willing to train if you are willing to learn and are reliable.
At our thriving dental practice, you'll be an integral part of our patient-focused team, ensuring that every patient receives top-notch care and support throughout their visit. Your responsibilities will include a blend of clinical and administrative duties, making each day both challenging and rewarding.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare patients for treatment and procedures
- Provide exceptional chairside assistance to the dentist
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and treatment planning
- Welcome patients with a friendly demeanor and address any concerns or questions they may have
**Requirements**
- Previous experience as a dental assistant, with proficiency in both clinical and administrative tasks
- MD X-ray certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Dedication to providing outstanding patient care
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
