Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant/receptionist to join our growing dental practice. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and administrative responsibilities and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will support the Lead Dental Assistant and Office Manager with daily operations and assist with weekly full mouth reconstruction surgeries.
Responsibilities
Clinical Support
Assist the dentist and lead assistant during procedures, including full mouth reconstruction surgeries
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Maintain proper sterilization and infection control protocols
Take and process dental X-rays (if certified)
Assist with patient comfort and post-op instructions
Front Office / Reception
Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer phones, manage emails, and handle patient inquiries
Verify patient information and assist with basic insurance coordination
Support the Office Manager with daily and weekly administrative tasks
Qualifications
Previous dental experience preferred (open to training the right candidate)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Professional, friendly, and patient-focused attitude
Ability to work well in a fast-paced clinical environment
Experience with dental software is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
