Your search is over!! Patient-centered and wellness-focused dental practice with a great team environment searching for a motivated, positive Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant for 5 days (Monday through Friday) in Camarillo, CA for $23-32/hour + check out our benefits!
We are a fast-paced, growing PPO and fee-for-service private practice that offers the best in dentistry for our area. Ranked a top practice year after year, we provide laser periodontal therapy, biomimetic enamel regeneration, therapeutic Botox for TMD, sleep apnea testing and treatment, laser dentistry, implant placement and restorations and much more...as well as fun giveaways/contests, team incentives and wellness activities.
We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and organized individual who is excited to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self directed, exudes confidence, and cares about their patients and wants to form relationships with them. You must have excellent communication skills and work well in a team.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to aseptic techniques.
Take and arrange digital dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage patient appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed, including dental receptionist tasks.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Conduct vital signs checks and assist with medical imaging when necessary.
Utilize EMR systems such as Dentrix Ascend for patient management and record keeping.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures by providing compassionate care to younger patients.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental technology such as 3D scanners (iTero), EZRay, CBCT, etc.
Skills
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices, including Invisalign, Zoom
Familiarity with dental coding, records management, and documentation processes.
Experience in infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a dental clinic environment while demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
