Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support to dentists and patients alike, ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering outstanding patient care. Your expertise in dental procedures, patient communication, and clinical assistance will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including crowns, implants, extractions, fillings and etc., ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection control protocols.
Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture accurate diagnostic images while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Eaglesoft experience is a PLUS
Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment using aseptic techniques and proper infection control procedures.
Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling administrative tasks efficiently.
Skills
Extensive experience with dental assisting in a busy dental clinic setting.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray units and 3D scanners safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology.
Experience is highly favorable but we are willing to train as long as you are x-rays certified.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
