Job Description
Overview
Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! We are looking for someone with strong work ethics , positive attitude and care for patients.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for procedures
Assist dentists during exams, restorations, extractions, root canals, prosthodontics, and other dental treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques
Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and answer questions about procedures in a friendly manner
Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and managing patient flow efficiently
Skills
Proficiency with dental software
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic technique
Experience with X-ray imaging techniques
Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with medical coding related to dental procedures
Excellent chairside assisting skills (General dentistry)
Able to communicate to patients in friendly manner
Scheduling patients

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
