Job Description
Chosen Family Dentistry is looking for a skilled, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a modern general dental practice focused on high-quality patient care and creating a positive, supportive work environment.
We value strong chairside skills, reliability, attention to detail, and someone who works well as part of a team. We are also open to new dental assisting graduates with Maryland X-ray certification who show strong potential, professionalism, and a willingness to learn. For the right candidate, we are happy to provide hands-on training.
What You'll Do
Assist the dentist during general dental procedures
Take high-quality diagnostic dental X-rays
Prepare and turn over treatment rooms efficiently
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
Anticipate the doctor's needs and help procedures run smoothly
Help maintain an organized and efficient clinical schedule
Provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients
Work collaboratively with our doctors and team
Qualifications
Maryland dental X-ray certification is required
Dental assisting experience is preferred
Strong chairside skills and dental knowledge are a plus
New graduates with X-ray certification are welcome to apply
Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
Professional and comfortable communicating with patients
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Team-oriented and receptive to feedback
Interested in learning, improving, and growing with the practice
We are looking for someone who takes pride in being a great dental assistant—not simply someone looking for their next job. An experienced assistant who can contribute from day one would be a great fit, but we also recognize that experience isn't everything. If you are a newer assistant with a strong foundation, excellent attitude, and the drive to become exceptional, we are willing to invest in training the right person!
