Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Dentrix will be highly valued. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional and patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs
Manage patient records accurately using dental software
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and post-treatment instructions
Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Support the team with inventory management of dental supplies and materials
Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in dental assisting or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
