Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high quality patient centered care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and providing patient comfort support
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols
Manage patient records accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, documenting procedures, patient histories, and treatment plans
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures
Handle manual tasks such as blood sampling, patient condition reporting, and assisting with medical documentation when necessary
Maintain clinic cleanliness and sterilization standards to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within a dental or medical setting is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and diagnostic radiology techniques is advantageous
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required to ensure preparedness for emergency situations
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively
Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented setting while managing multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinics
