Skyline Dental Studio in Union Square is hiring a dental assistant to join our friendly and quality driven team. We are looking to hire a candidate who is eager to learn and grow in their profession while contributing to patient care and growth of the practice.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for use according to infection prevention management protocols.
Assist dentist during various procedures
Take digital X-rays and 3D scans
Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients, updating medical records, recording vital signs
Ensure clinical confidentiality policies are followed when handling medical documentation and medical records, safeguarding patient privacy at all times.
Perform dental instrument processing including sterilization procedures using infection control techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
Support the dental team with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones as a dental receptionist, and managing patient inquiries with professionalism.
Requirements
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
8 hour Completion of Infection Control, CPR, HIPAA
Knowledge of dental terminology
Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, dental sterilization devices, and other clinical tools effectively.
Experience with infection prevention management practices
Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with dentists, hygienists, patients, and administrative staff.
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
