Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting our clinical team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures using chairside and four-handed dentistry techniques.

Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures.

Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.

Operate digital X-ray equipment, intraoral scanners, and 3D imaging technology while maintaining compliance with all safety and HIPAA regulations.

Provide patients with education regarding oral hygiene, treatment procedures, and post-operative care instructions.

Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols in accordance with OSHA, CDC, and office guidelines.

Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Assist with patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Support front-office and clinical operations as needed.

Qualifications
Current California Dental Assistant certification or registration, as required by state regulations.

Previous experience in general dentistry required.

Experience in pediatric dentistry and/or prosthodontics is a plus.

X-ray certification preferred.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control procedures, and sterilization techniques.

Experience with digital radiography, electronic dental records, and dental software.

Familiarity with intraoral scanners and 3D imaging technology is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) or Spanish preferred.
