Job Description
Private general dental practice is seeking a RDA /dental assistant to join our team on Monday, Wed , Thursday and Fridays. ( 2 Saturdays a month)
A qualified candidate must possess a positive attitude and work with other members as a team. The right candidate must be mature, reliable, punctual and with attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures
Break down/clean up operatories following dental procedures
Greet, seat and prepare patients for treatment
Take digital dental radiographs
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
Record medical/dental histories, dental/periodontal charting and vital signs of patient
Provide pre and post-operative instructions prescribed and directed by the doctor in charge
Record treatment information in patient records
Pour Dental impressions and make provisionalizations, Temp Crowns
answer phone calls and schedule appointments when front office staff is busy
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
