Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infection.
Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Maintain an organized inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential for effective communication within the team.
Proficiency in using dental software systems for patient management will be advantageous.
