Job Description
Schedule:
Tuesdays: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesdays & Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Mondays: 1–2 per month (scheduled in advance)
Vernon Woods Dental & Implant Center, a modern and patient-focused practice in Sandy Springs, is seeking a friendly, dependable, and skilled Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care, and we are looking for someone who is warm, professional, and committed to making every patient feel comfortable and valued.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Chairside assisting for general dentistry procedures
Fabricating high-quality temporary crowns
Digital intraoral scanning
Sterilization, instrument prep, and operatory turnover
Assisting in managing the clinical supply inventory and back-office flow
Taking dental x-rays (radiology certification preferred)
Ensuring every patient has a comfortable, positive dental experience
What We’re Looking For:
Someone very personable, patient-centered, and attentive
Ability to create a welcoming, calm environment for patients
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (preferred)
Confidence in making temporaries and using digital scanners
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
Current certifications (radiology, CPR) preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
