Job Summary
Radiant Smiles Dentistry is a new, locally owned dental practice opening in the Savannah/Pooler area. We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a startup dental practice from the beginning. We are looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, organized, and committed to creating a positive patient experience.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes initiative, communicates well, and is excited about growing with the practice over time.
Schedule
This position will initially be approximately 22–25 hours per week.
Current anticipated schedule:
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Additional hours will become available as the practice grows.
Compensation:
$20–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
A performance-based pay review will be completed after the introductory period.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Chairside assisting during dental procedures
Preparing and turning over operatories
Sterilization and infection control
Taking dental radiographs, if properly trained and authorized
Supporting patient comfort and education
Accurate charting and documentation
Helping maintain clinical flow and schedule efficiency
Maintaining OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
Supporting a positive and professional team culture

Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
Dental assisting experience preferred
Dental radiology training preferred
Expanded duties experience is a plus
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication skills
