Job Description
Our office is open Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
- Proficiency in dental software systems, such as Dentrix
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
This position requires a dedicated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and be able to work well as part of a team.
