Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Duties
Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as pediatric dentistry treatments
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining aseptic technique
Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans, ensuring proper patient positioning and safety protocols
Manage electronic medical records using EMR systems like Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate dental documentation and coding
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a general or pediatric dental clinic setting
Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security
Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and medical imaging procedures
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques
Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently;
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and specialists
Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training; additional certifications in xray and Corneal polishing are preferred
