Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where clinical skills and patient communication are essential. Experience with dental software such as OPEN and Dexis would be beneficial. 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist dentists during various procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs using DEXIS technology when necessary
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Manage patient records using dental software such as OPEN
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions during visits
Support administrative updating patient information
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year Experience preferred
HARP Certified
IPAC certifications
Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity with OPEN and Dexis systems preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
