Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for each procedure.
Assist dentists chairside during various treatments including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment.
Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures.
Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, and managing medical documentation and records.
Qualifications
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental assisting and chairside support.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic is highly desirable.
Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely following all safety guidelines.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus, along with experience in general dentistry procedures including prosthodontics and endodontics.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with the dental team.
