Job Description
Overview
This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a family dental practice where your skills in dental assisting, patient management, and infection control will make a real difference. You will assist dentists during procedures, ensure the smooth flow of daily activities, and uphold the highest standards of clinical confidentiality and safety.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols.
Assist dentists chairside during various procedures.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Proficiency in dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, and sterilization tools.
Familiarity with dental software Eaglesoft for patient management and medical documentation.
Knowledge of infection prevention management practices including sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control expertise.
Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently and confidently.
Certification in dental radiography (X-ray) is required.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
