Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with patient acceptance, maintaining an organized environment, and supporting the dental team during procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental implant procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dental team during implant surgeries, All-on-Four procedures, snap-in dentures, single unit implants, and implant bridges.
Help with patient acceptance and consultations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Take X-rays, impressions, and digital impressions as required.
Clean and prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are organized and well-stocked.
Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and HIPAA protocols.
Maintain and order dental supplies and materials.
Ensure compliance with all OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Be CPR certified and maintain certification.
Cross-train to support front desk tasks, including answering calls, confirming appointments, and following up with patients.
Provide excellent patient care and support, addressing any concerns or questions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a dental implant practice.
Proficient in taking X-rays, impressions, and digital impressions.
Knowledge of dental implant procedures and terminology.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR certification.
Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and provide exceptional patient care.
