Dental Assistant

Overview
1 year experience Required. Restorative and surgical assisting mandatory.

2 doctor practice with long-term staff is looking to add to our team. Minimal turnover, family like atmosphere, looking for the right candidate who wants to continue to grow with our team, who is not looking for a job, but a career.

Duties
Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency.

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained.

Take dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.

Operate dental imaging equipment including 3D scanners and medical imaging devices.

Educate patients on dental procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care using appropriate dental terminology.

Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.

Requirements
Proven experience working in a dental office setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.

Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic technique.

Ability to operate X-ray machines and other medical imaging equipment safely and effectively.

Excellent communication skills to educate patients about treatments and oral health practices.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
