Job Description
Talent Dental, office of Mehdi Ghavam, D.M.D. is looking for a full-time dental assistant to join our team of long-term and close-knit employees. We are busy, well established, single-dentist office located in downtown Talent.
Our office is committed to providing the very best care possible. We provide a patient centered experience, based on trust, education and quality customer service. We have an incredible patient base of very loyal and long-term patients.
We have great relationships with our patients, a product of good communication. Any applicant must have a very strong work ethic and a positive attitude. We keep a steady pace and a full schedule. You must be a team player. We all work together to get the job done. Attention to detail is a necessity.
This position is full-time, Monday through Thursday 8-5. Every Friday off. Benefits include health insurance, 401K with match, generous PTO, paid holidays, and dental benefits. Pay is very competitive and dependent upon experience. You will work hard while you’re here and have plenty of time off.
We are seeking an EFDA trained dental assistant with radiology certification. If you don’t have an EFDA certification or radiology certification, you must have a willingness to obtain one. We will help with the proper study materials and training. If the ideal candidate came along with no experience, we would be willing to train to help obtain basic dental assisting, EFDA dental assisting, and radiology certifications.
We are looking for a career individual, someone who shares the same passion as we do.

Duties include:
- Seating patients, seeing their treatment to completion, and escorting them back to the front office.
- Reviewing health history and creating accurate and complete chart notes.
- Working as a teammate with other Dental Assistants to get the job done, as well as maintaining flow across the office.
- Sterilization and instrument processing in strict adherence to CDC guidelines.
- Maintaining disinfection protocols.
- Maintenance of equipment.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
- An ability to work efficiently and keep a schedule.
- Many other miscellaneous duties.
