General, Cosmetic and Family Practice is looking for a team oriented dental assistant. The candidate must be professional, enthusiastic with strong communication and organization skills. 5 years experience is required. Please do not apply if you are not a certified dental assistant with experience. Most of the staff has worked here several years and we all get along quite well and respect each other. No drama here. We believe in work life balance and having a bit of fun while we help patients have healthy and beautiful smiles. Patient base is age 10-99.

Days Needed: Mon-Wed (full days) and Thursday (6 hrs) 30-33 hrs per week
Monday-Wednesday 7:30-5:30 and Thursdays 7:30-2:30/3pm

Fee for service practice/ not high volume or insurance driven
Patient hours Mon-Wed 8am-5pm & Thursdays 8am-2:30pm

Responsibilities:
Expanded Functions Required
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Keep rooms stocked
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Keep lab stocked and clean
Proficiency in taking x-rays and using dental imaging systems (Dexis)
Digital scanning experience (I-tero)
Must be able to pack cord and make temps
Invisalign Experience would be a plus
Implant Restoration experience would be a plus
Intraoral and extraoral photography experience
Explain to patients treatment plans
Order supplies as needed
Performing other duties as required to support the office/team
Requirements:
5 Years Experience Required
Team Orientated is a MUST
Dental assisting certification (EFDA) and Radiology
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix/ Asend
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Be at the office by 7:35 and attend the 7:45 Morning Huddle
Like to talk with patients
Be able to effectively explain to patients why treatment is needed

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
